Introduction

License shows your license status and the location of your license file and directory. This guide explains how to update your SecureSuite license.

Without a valid license, you cannot start new Controls assessments or run remote configuration assessments.

Update License

1. In CIS WorkBench, go to Downloads.
2. Select Download License.

3. Select Download.

Download Issues?

If the file is not downloading, verify that JavaScript is enabled on your browser.

4. Extract the contents from the downloaded ZIP file.
5. Copy license.xml and paste it into the directory you designated during installation. You will overwrite your expired license.

Locating the license file

To help locate the license file is, open the CIS SecureSuite Platform and go to License.

Log out and log back in to see the updated license.
